What is a BO account?বিও একাউন্ট কী?
A BO (Beneficiary Owner) account is where your shares, IPO allotments, mutual fund units and Treasury bonds are held electronically at CDBL (Central Depository Bangladesh Limited). You need one to buy or sell shares on the Dhaka Stock Exchange, and you open it through a stock broker such as Mika Securities.বিও (বেনিফিশিয়ারি ওনার) অ্যাকাউন্ট হলো সেই অ্যাকাউন্ট, যেখানে আপনার শেয়ার, আইপিও বরাদ্দ, মিউচুয়াল ফান্ড ইউনিট ও ট্রেজারি বন্ড সিডিবিএল-এ (সেন্ট্রাল ডিপোজিটরি বাংলাদেশ লিমিটেড) ইলেকট্রনিকভাবে জমা থাকে। ঢাকা স্টক এক্সচেঞ্জে শেয়ার কেনাবেচা করতে এটি লাগে, আর এটি খুলতে হয় মাইকা সিকিউরিটিজের মতো একটি স্টক ব্রোকারের মাধ্যমে।

For an individual: your National ID card or passport, two passport-size photos, a cheque leaf or bank statement showing the routing number, and a photo of your nominee.
